About the Company

Rebel Foods is reimagining the food and beverage industry by applying technology to restaurant operations. The company is building a large internet-first restaurant business with a strong presence across India, the UAE, and the UK, operating multiple brands and thousands of internet restaurants through its operating system. This role is based in Hyderabad, India.

Role Overview

The Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day store performance, excellent customer experience, stock control, and accurate cash and account handling.

Customer Service and Store Operations

  • Ensure customers receive a consistent, high-quality service experience and that the store environment remains presentable and functional.
  • Welcome guests, support them with their questions, and help keep service running efficiently.
  • Keep the outlet tidy, well arranged, and ready for business throughout operating hours.

Inventory and Stock Control

  • Verify incoming inventory against invoices to confirm the quantities and items are correct.
  • Label prices on stock items and replenish shelves before stock runs low.
  • Monitor stock, supplies, and inventory registers regularly.
  • Place orders for groceries and other operating materials based on business requirements.

Cash and Account Handling

  • Accept cash payments and return the correct balance to customers.
  • Close and balance the day’s cash collection and arrange deposits as required.
  • Record card transactions accurately, including Visa and debit payments.
  • Update the manual general ledger and keep transaction records current.
  • Print, log, and validate receipts carefully.
  • Carry out regular bank statement reconciliation.
  • Track customer dues and follow up to ensure payments are collected on time.

Record Keeping and Documentation

  • Maintain logbooks, account records, and pricing details in an organized manner.
  • Ensure cash records, inventory documents, and related paperwork are accurate and consistently updated.

Requirements

  • Prior operations experience is compulsory.
  • Background in a quick service restaurant environment is required.
  • Good customer handling ability along with basic accounting knowledge is needed.
  • Strong communication skills, honesty, and careful attention to detail are expected.

Compensation

The offered pay is INR 2,25,000 to INR 2,75,000 per year.
