Shift Leader - Events (Arabic Speaker)

About the Role

Park Hyatt Doha is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Shift Leader for Events, who is fluent in Arabic, to become a key member of our Food and Beverage department. This position involves overseeing the setup of events, liaising with various internal departments, and ensuring that all banquet and event functions are executed to the highest standard.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the setup of event spaces according to client specifications and hotel standards.
• Coordinate with culinary, service, and other relevant teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the events team during shifts.
• Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during events promptly and effectively.
• Ensure adherence to all hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction by delivering exceptional event experiences.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in banquet or events operations, preferably within a luxury hotel environment.
• Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in problem-solving and effective communication.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Familiarity with various banquet setup styles and event service protocols.
