About the Role

YAAAS TEA is seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team in Sevenig, Germany. This position demands leading daily operations within the cafe, ensuring exemplary customer service, and fostering a positive team environment to consistently meet and exceed sales goals. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will also be responsible for inventory oversight, maintaining a clean and safe shop environment, and supporting administrative functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily opening and closing duties, ensuring smooth shifts at YAAAS TEA.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly resolving any issues and addressing customer needs.
• Lead, coach, and motivate team members to consistently produce high-quality beverages and food, adhering to our standards.
• Conduct inventory activities including ordering, stock level monitoring, and audits.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures to maintain a tidy and welcoming café atmosphere.
• Analyze sales trends and customer flows to identify and implement strategies for improvement and retention.
• Assist the Store Manager with scheduling, payroll management, and monitoring staff performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or relevant fields is advantageous.
• At least 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail settings.
• Proven leadership abilities to inspire teams toward meeting sales objectives and delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing relationships with customers, employees, and leadership.
• Excellent organizational capabilities to manage diverse priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Solid foundation in coffee and tea preparation, paired with enthusiasm for quality food and beverage service.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage starting at $19.00.
