About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the site’s Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Management System ensuring adherence to ISO regulations and company standards.
- Support field teams through regular site inspections, participation in meetings, and enforcing customer compliance, including managing documentation for contractor compliance on client platforms.
- Administer the SHIELD reporting tool, monitor corrective action implementation, and ensure prompt resolution of safety-related issues.
- Lead risk assessment processes and coordinate mitigation action plans to address identified hazards.
- Uphold a zero-harm safety culture by exemplifying and promoting safe behaviors consistently across all site operations.
- Primarily work onsite with occasional travel required to support field services and compliance audits.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a Higher National Diploma, ideally specialized in Safety, Health, and Environment.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and sustaining SHE Management Systems.
- Sound understanding of health, safety, and environmental laws and requirements.
- Valid driver's license is mandatory.
Preferred Skills
- Certification such as NEBOSH or comparable safety qualifications.
- Background in managing SHE compliance within mining or industrial sectors.
- Excellent communication abilities and adeptness in managing stakeholder relationships.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-changing and collaborative work setting.
