Job description

Position Summary

Systems Arabia is looking for a proficient ServiceNow ITSM Specialist to join our IT department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The chosen candidate will oversee, improve, and maintain IT Service Management procedures across on-premises and cloud ServiceNow platforms, ensuring efficient and quality service delivery.

Key Duties

  • Administer and enhance core ITSM processes such as Incident, Change, Request, and Problem Management.
  • Lead governance and elevate IT service delivery in line with ITIL best practices.
  • Set up, configure, and sustain ServiceNow systems within both local and cloud environments.
  • Execute development and deployment of change requests, enhancements, and workflow improvements within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Manage and maintain ServiceNow MID Servers and support integration with other systems.
  • Create, develop, and debug API and web service interfaces connecting third-party applications.
  • Track service performance, pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements, and propose optimization strategies.
  • Classify, prioritize, and resolve IT service tickets in compliance with defined Service Level Agreements.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to applications, platforms, and integrations while collaborating with various teams.
  • Keep comprehensive technical documentation and ensure compliance with governance and audit standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related discipline.
  • Demonstrate solid experience with ServiceNow in both on-site and cloud settings.
  • Have a thorough understanding of ITSM lifecycle and ITIL framework principles.
  • Practical expertise with Incident, Change, Request, and Problem Management ServiceNow modules.
  • Experience in setup and administration of ServiceNow MID Servers.
  • Familiarity with REST and SOAP API protocols, web services, and system integrations.
  • Competent in implementing ServiceNow customizations, workflow scripting, and coding.
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Possession of ServiceNow and/or ITIL certifications is advantageous.
  • Applications from Saudi nationals are highly encouraged.
