ServiceNow Developer - GIS and Field Service Management

About the Role

Join as a GIS and ServiceNow Field Service Management Analyst where you will architect, configure, and improve geospatial and field service solutions to empower efficient field operations and informed decision-making. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide scalable and user-focused solutions by leveraging GIS technology and the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain ServiceNow Field Service Management functionalities such as work order processing, workforce dispatch, mobile workforce support, and asset management.
• Create and deploy geospatial solutions using ESRI ArcGIS to manage and visualize location-based information effectively.
• Build and tailor interactive online maps using Leaflet.js along with JavaScript technologies.
• Integrate GIS datasets and services into ServiceNow and other corporate systems.
• Convert business and operational needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Perform testing, identify issues, and resolve defects within GIS and ServiceNow components.
• Work alongside developers, functional experts, and business personnel to ensure top-quality project completion.

Candidate Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in GIS, online mapping, or implementation of enterprise platforms.
• Proficient hands-on experience with ESRI ArcGIS products including ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Server or similar tools.
• Practical knowledge in Leaflet.js and JavaScript for web mapping development.
• Experience in configuring or supporting ServiceNow Field Service Management solutions.
• Understanding of system integration, REST APIs, and data flow mechanisms.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities paired with effective communication skills.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
• Basic skills in cartographic design and database management.
