Service Technician

Overview

Culligan Ireland is seeking a field-based Service Technician in County Cork to help deliver reliable water cooler and filtration services. This role is central to keeping customer equipment operating properly through installation, servicing, maintenance, collections, exchanges, and on-site support. You will represent the company in the field and contribute directly to a positive customer experience.

Contract and location

This is a full-time permanent position, with employment subject to a 6-month probationary period. The role is based in the field across Co. Cork, including Youghal, County Cork, Ireland.

Pay and benefits

The salary is €32,000 per year, paid monthly. In addition, there is an annual tax-free meal allowance of €4,000.

What you will do

• Keep water cooler and filtration equipment working effectively and aligned to customer needs.
• Visit customer sites to complete surveys, installations, repairs, servicing, exchanges, and collections.
• Identify technical faults and apply practical fixes.
• Follow an organised daily route while staying adaptable for urgent call-outs and reactive work.
• Manage van stock, tools, and other inventory needed for the day’s jobs.
• Log service activity accurately using digital systems on the supplied tablet.
• Deliver a polite, professional, and customer-focused service at every visit.

What we are looking for

• A full, valid driving licence with no more than 6 points and no disqualifying offences.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Prior experience resolving technical or mechanical problems.
• Good knowledge of the local geography and nearby areas.
• The ability to work on your own and follow planned schedules.
• Strong people skills and a genuine focus on customer care.

Working pattern and extras

The standard work pattern is Monday to Friday, daytime hours. You will be provided with a uniform, tablet, and company van.
