Role overview

Culligan Ireland is seeking a field-based Service Technician to support customers with the installation, servicing, exchange, collection, and maintenance of water coolers and filtration equipment. The position is focused on delivering reliable service, keeping equipment in good working order, and ensuring a positive customer experience at every visit.

This is a permanent full-time role, offered subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probation period. The post is based in Co. Cork and follows a Monday to Friday daytime schedule.

Compensation

The salary for this position is €32,000 per year, paid monthly. In addition, the role includes an annual tax-free meal allowance of €4,000.

Key duties

You will be responsible for carrying out field service work across assigned customer sites, including surveys, installations, repairs, exchanges, collections, and both planned and reactive maintenance. The role also involves troubleshooting faults, keeping van stock and equipment levels under control, and logging service activity accurately through a tablet-based system.

Working style

This is an independent field role that requires good organisation, flexibility, and the ability to manage a daily route while responding to urgent service needs when required. A professional, customer-focused approach is essential, as you will represent the Culligan brand directly at customer premises.

Requirements

Applicants should have a full valid driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and no disqualifying offences, along with at least 3 years of driving experience. You should also have a background in identifying and resolving technical or mechanical issues, be comfortable working on your own, and have strong local geographical knowledge. Good interpersonal skills and a genuine customer-first attitude are important for success in the role.

Additional information
