Role overview
Survitec is hiring a Service Technician FRS to join its Operations team in Senoko, Singapore. This is a permanent, full-time onsite position focused on servicing, installation, maintenance, and repair work carried out to agreed quality, safety, and performance standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair tasks in line with standard procedures, quality requirements, safety rules, and performance targets.
- Look for practical ways to improve processes and share ideas for controlled continuous improvement across the wider service operation.
- Handle customer interactions professionally and use strong product knowledge to respond to technical questions about service needs.
- Support specialists in setting up and testing new products or processes, and install more complex systems within the limits of training and competence, escalating when necessary.
- Carry out preventive maintenance checks and identify equipment or system issues that may require urgent repair.
- Work in accordance with Survitec policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory codes, obtaining approval from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions to mandatory processes.
- Coordinate monthly scheduling with the Service Operations Manager to support suitable manpower planning.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental instructions, and actively reduce risks to protect people and the environment.
- Build capability through assessments, development planning, and formal or informal training, with the aim of becoming competent across multiple product lines.
- Stay current with relevant technologies, regulations, and industry best practices through ongoing learning and reading specialist material.
- Use stores requisition procedures correctly to keep stock records accurate and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Work with business improvement colleagues on standard toolkit adoption, problem solving, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for process variation.
- Help create a work environment that reflects Survitec values and makes people feel respected, included, and valued.
- Contribute to a safety-first culture across the team and wider organisation.

The role calls for a technician who can work independently at a fully competent level in at least one Survitec service product line. The position does not require formal management experience.
Education and experience
Candidates should have a high school education with 4 GCSEs or an equivalent qualification. Relevant job experience of 1 to 3 years is required.
