Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a meticulous Service Parts Coordinator to join the team on a contract basis and support inventory and distribution activities. The position is focused on keeping service parts available and ensuring smooth operations for technicians and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out day-to-day inventory movements such as goods receipt, stock transfers, rental and picking activity, and stock adjustments.
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Track slow-moving, obsolete, and surplus stock, and share recommended corrective actions with the Parts Manager.
- Ensure service parts are delivered on time to technicians, dealers, and customers.
- Coordinate closely with service teams so parts are available for repair and maintenance work.
- Keep inventory and distribution information updated accurately in the NERP/WMS system.
- Follow up on urgent requirements and backordered parts.
- Provide support for counter parts sales during lunch break hours.
Requirements
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a closely related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or parts-related operations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle work in a fast-paced setting.
Additional Information
