Service Manager - Rodney District, North Auckland

About the Role

This leadership position is based in the Northshore/Rodney District and involves managing supported living services for children, young people, and adults with disabilities along with their whanau. The Service Manager will oversee teams providing direct care in residents' homes mainly across Northshore/Rodney and parts of West Auckland. The role requires monitoring health, lifestyle, and behavioral progress and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver personalized, responsive, and high-quality support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise staff delivering support in homes within the portfolio.
• Ensure the wellbeing, health, and behavioral outcomes of service users meet individual goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary health professionals to tailor services effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, or a related field such as health, teaching, psychology, social work, or management.
• Experience working within health, disability, or social service sectors including solid theoretical knowledge of intellectual disability and/or mental health.
• Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing teams and resources efficiently.
• Must hold a Class 1 Full New Zealand Driver's Licence.
• Additional qualifications or experience in mental health are advantageous.
• Fluent and clear English communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
