Position Overview
The Service Lot Attendant at Jaguar Land Rover Vancouver is crucial to delivering an outstanding customer experience by ensuring dealership vehicles and lot areas are clean, organized, and well presented. This role supports the Service Department by preparing vehicles for customer delivery, moving vehicles as needed, and maintaining safe and tidy dealership grounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain all vehicles in a clean and presentable state, ready for customer handover or showroom display.
- Uphold vehicle presentation standards to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Regularly start vehicles, monitor battery status, and recharge when necessary.
- Organize the vehicle inventory lot, keeping it neat and orderly.
- Keep the service areas clean by removing trash and debris from vehicles and workspaces.
- Ensure the delivery zone is tidy, organized, and free from obstructions.
- Properly store supplies at the end of each shift.
- In winter, clear snow and ice from entrances, vehicles, and lots to maintain safe walkways.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possession of a valid British Columbia Driver’s License.
- Ability to provide a current ICBC driver’s abstract upon request.
- Effective teamwork skills and the ability to work cooperatively.
- Safe operation of assigned equipment and vehicles.
- Strong focus on detail and quality control.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
Additional Information
The hourly wage for this position is $22.16.
