KONE Middle East, Turkey & Africa (KMTA) is growing its direct footprint across seven regions and is hiring a motivated Service Engineer for its Doha, Qatar office.

Role Overview

In this position, you will plan, coordinate, and supervise the contracted scope of work while ensuring that KONE solutions are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high quality within the agreed schedule and budget.

You will be responsible for managing and controlling field service activities in your area in line with service contract obligations, company policies, and KONE procedures. This role also makes you the primary contact for technical and operational matters raised by customers.

The role includes ownership of maintenance field operation costs such as callouts, service repairs, and planned maintenance, along with revenue from callout and service repair sales. KONE is looking for someone with a strong service attitude, leadership qualities, initiative, and a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering strong service quality and clear communication, with attention to equipment safety and performance.
  • Handle complaints related to service quality and invoicing for maintenance operations.
  • Deliver services in accordance with the service contract, KONE quality expectations, and local regulations.
  • Monitor and manage field operation expenses, callouts, and sales of service repairs.
  • Coordinate third-party inspection visits and track follow-up actions.
  • Review service contracts and technical conditions together with the sales team.
  • Plan maintenance schedules, optimize routing, and carry out site audits.
  • Investigate incidents while following company rules on evidence handling and internal reporting.
  • Oversee the performance of assigned technicians and support their motivation and skill development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Energetic, driven professional with strong analytical thinking and the ability to learn quickly.
  • At least 5 years of experience in elevator service operations is preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an added advantage.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and well-organized, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to assess customer needs accurately and recommend tailored solutions.
