About the Role
Safhire is a recruitment partner linking skilled professionals in South Africa with companies based in the US. We are seeking a Service Care Coordinator to assist a US elder care organization in ensuring excellent patient care by managing coordination tasks, documentation, and communication with families.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain ongoing communication with patients and their families to uphold high quality care standards
- Accurately complete all necessary monthly and yearly documentation punctually
- Organize transportation for patients and arrange medical supply deliveries
- Handle escalation situations when patients express dissatisfaction
Qualifications and Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree is essential
- Strong skills in organization, communication, and problem-solving
- Competent with basic computer functions such as email, documentation, and data entry
- Experience with case management or patient coordination is advantageous
- Residency in Johannesburg
- Willingness and ability to travel to the US roughly every three months for in-person meetings
- Preparedness to relocate to an office location once established
- Availability from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
