About the Role

The position involves more than just serving food; it focuses on creating memorable guest experiences that include food and drink service. You will be responsible for various tasks such as setting tables, coordinating with kitchen staff, engaging with and serving guests, as well as maintaining cleanliness of workspaces and supplies. This role emphasizes attention to safety, adherence to company policies, maintaining quality standards, and presenting a professional appearance and demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive service to guests to enhance their dining experience.
• Prepare and set tables appropriately for service.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and other staff members.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while interacting with guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and supplies.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned to support service excellence.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Remain on feet for extended periods, involving standing, walking, or sitting as necessary.
• Work in environments with uneven or slippery flooring.
• Manage menu items by reading and verifying information visually.
• Perform manual tasks involving lifting, moving, pushing, pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds unaided, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Engage in physical movements such as bending, twisting, stooping, reaching overhead, and below the knees.

Educational and Experience Qualifications

• Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar role is less than one year.
• No prior supervisory experience is required.
• No licenses or certifications are mandatory for this position.
