Games Room Attendant

Position Overview

The Games Room Attendant plays a key role in supporting the youth activities team by offering enjoyable, educational, and caring services to children of both members and guests, fostering a friendly and inviting atmosphere. This position involves building strong connections with children and their parents, participating actively in daily activities such as organizing arts and crafts, leading games, storytelling, and singing, while promoting the club’s youth programs and assisting with registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct assistance and support to children during various activities ensuring a safe and engaging environment.
• Keep the facilities and equipment tidy, well-maintained, and safe for use.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management immediately.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications including CPR and First Aid.
• Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality at all times.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests following company standards, addressing their needs and assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally both in person and over the telephone.
• Build and sustain positive working relationships with coworkers and guests.
• Comply with quality assurance standards to ensure a high-quality experience.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting objects up to 25 pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for extended durations.
• Perform any additional reasonable tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) preferred.
• No prior related work or supervisory experience required.
• Mandatory certifications: CPR and First Aid.
• Certification or training compliant with local and state recreation equipment regulations.
