SEO Content Specialist - Arabic (12-Month Contract)

Job Overview

Become part of a pioneering team redefining how people around the globe engage with design. This position is a 12-month fixed-term full-time contract based in Dubai, with a preference for hybrid work once the office facilities are established to encourage collaboration.

Team and Role Context

As an SEO Content Specialist focusing on the MENA region (primarily GCC and Egypt), you'll work within both the Organic Growth specialty and an International Supergroup. You'll be embedded locally within your country team while also contributing to a global SEO team focused on improving SEO for logged-out pages on the website. The SEO team combines expertise in keyword research, technical SEO, content strategy, outreach, data analytics, and more, across many regions and languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize SEO-focused content, including landing pages and blog articles, ensuring alignment with brand voice, guidelines, and local audience needs.
• Manage the editorial calendar and publishing schedule, guaranteeing timely delivery of content supporting overall SEO and content strategies.
• Track content performance using key metrics, regularly update existing pages, and enhance user engagement and credibility.
• Apply SEO best practices consistently and identify improvements in content quality, workflow, and tools.
• Collaborate with the local and international SEO teams to align priorities and help meet growth goals.
• Support activities such as keyword research, competitive analysis, and content creation in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Provide insights into local market trends and user behaviors to guide content strategies and identify new opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure content supports team and country objectives.
• Stay knowledgeable about changing search and discovery trends, including AI-driven platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, and others.
• Participate in experimenting with new content formats and optimization approaches as search landscapes evolve.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven success in SEO content writing or marketing with a portfolio showcasing measurable outcomes.
• Native Arabic speaker with comprehensive understanding of regional dialects and proficient English at business level.
• Strong skills in copywriting and editing, including providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Experience with editorial planning and content publishing through CMS platforms.
• Excellent grasp of SEO principles including keyword optimization, content structure, user intent, and strategic content integration.
• Familiarity with SEO software tools such as Ahrefs or Semrush is advantageous.
• Ability to use web analytics tools effectively to measure and understand how users interact with content.
• Deep cultural and linguistic knowledge relevant to the local market to ensure content resonates authentically.
• Awareness of regional writing trends and preferences to guarantee content feels native rather than translated.
• Interest in emerging discovery channels, especially in AI search, large language models, social search, and new platforms.
• Channel-agnostic mindset understanding discoverability beyond traditional search engines.
• Capacity to identify unique market opportunities that may not be apparent globally.
