Shopbop is hiring a Senior Visual Designer for its Creative team. This position is an opportunity to influence the everyday digital experience of a major online fashion destination. The role focuses on maintaining and improving visual standards across site and email, while also owning production for a wide range of digital content.
You will support and refine visual style systems used across the team, and produce daily web content for shopbop.com across desktop, mobile, and app experiences. The role reports to the Visual Design Manager and works closely with the Head of Visual Design, with a strong emphasis on consistency, quality, and efficient execution.
This position is well suited to a highly detail-oriented designer who enjoys structured systems, works comfortably in a fast-moving environment, and takes pride in precise, high-volume output.
What you'll do
- Set the direction for visual style guidance across site, app, and email, and keep those standards clearly documented and consistently used.
- Own production from start to finish for digital assets such as homepage modules, landing pages, promotional creative, email, and app-ready formats.
- Work with the Visual Design Manager, Head of Visual Design, and other partners to deliver polished work on time.
- Build, document, and improve processes and workflows so the team can operate more efficiently.
- Protect accuracy and visual consistency across every deliverable, ensuring work meets Shopbop's standards.
- Handle several active projects at once while balancing deadlines and priorities.
- Keep stakeholders informed and aligned on schedules, requirements, and creative direction.
- Coach and support other designers to help strengthen team quality and production output.
