Senior Vice President of Procurement

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Vice President of Procurement to drive the company's procurement strategy and oversee enterprise-wide sourcing operations. This executive position requires developing long-term procurement plans, enhancing supplier partnerships, optimizing operational efficiency, and fostering sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft and implement procurement strategies across the enterprise aligned with business goals and operational excellence.
• Lead strategic sourcing efforts to improve supplier selection, purchasing procedures, and overall procurement efficiency.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and business stakeholders for dependable, high-quality procurement practices.
• Work closely with Executive Leadership, Finance, Operations, Legal, Supply Chain, and other departments to ensure procurement alignment with organizational priorities.
• Define procurement policies, processes, and governance to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
• Manage supplier performance, contracts, and vendor evaluations effectively.
• Stay informed on market trends, industry changes, and supplier capabilities to drive continuous improvements and value generation.
• Lead planning, budgeting, forecasting, and allocation of procurement resources.
• Track procurement performance with key metrics and deliver reports and strategic guidance to executives.
• Identify risks in procurement operations and implement prevention strategies to maintain business continuity.
• Mentor and lead procurement leadership teams, encouraging collaboration, accountability, and ongoing development.
• Promote innovation by leveraging process improvements, digital procurement solutions, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing leadership roles including senior executive duties.
• Proven track record in developing and executing enterprise-level procurement strategies in complex organizations.
• Deep knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract handling, procurement operations, and financial planning.
• Experience leading large cross-functional teams and broad enterprise initiatives.
• Strong executive leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Well-developed analytical, financial, and strategic decision-making abilities.
• Background in managing procurement budgets, organizational planning, and performance evaluation.
• Capability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative, fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related disciplines.
• Procurement, supply chain, or sourcing professional certifications are advantageous.
