Overview
This executive role leads the Acute & Payer business unit within a leading healthcare technology company. Holding full financial accountability, the leader directs strategic growth, integration, and AI-driven innovation, working remotely with required periodic visits to Mississauga or Salt Lake City offices for key events. The company delivers advanced healthcare solutions to over 30,000 providers, emphasizing AI-enhanced care coordination and decision support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Acute & Payer unit as General Manager with full P&L responsibility, shaping strategic direction across Health System, Health Plan, and Convener sectors.
- Manage revenue growth and profitability targets while overseeing investments and cost controls for a business exceeding $100 million annual revenue.
- Drive commercialization of AI-enabled products, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams on market launch strategies.
- Promote innovation by integrating combined product offerings, leveraging customer feedback, and identifying partnership or acquisition opportunities.
- Oversee the customer journey to enhance engagement, retention, and value, ensuring product roadmaps align with customer requirements.
- Build and guide a high-performing team, establishing scalable operations, fostering a performance-driven culture, and implementing leadership development plans.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in senior business or P&L leadership roles within healthcare SaaS environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, technology, or related fields; MBA or equivalent advanced degree favored.
- Demonstrated success with full P&L accountability for businesses scaling beyond $100 million in revenue, managing EBITDA margins.
- Proven ability to integrate and cross-sell products post-acquisition to enhance organic growth.
- Experience in shaping and commercializing AI-powered or innovative technology products.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team building, succession planning, and organizational management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of strategy, operations, go-to-market execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Exposure to Health System, Health Plan, or Convener markets with expertise in care coordination or decision support solutions is advantageous.
- Experience supporting M&A integrations, strategic alliances, and engaging executive stakeholders, acting as a business unit leader.

This position offers a competitive base salary complemented by bonuses and benefits. Compensation ranges depend on skills, experience, and location, with a non-overtime eligible status.
