Role Overview
The Senior Vice President, Club, is a senior leadership position responsible for shaping the strategy and managing execution across Harvest Group's Club business unit. This role leads diverse retailer-focused teams driving client growth within national club retail partners. It entails full ownership of the profit and loss (P&L), strategic planning, and fostering a healthy organizational culture while aligning channel strategies with overall company objectives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in wholesale/club retail, proven leadership skills, financial expertise, and a strong ability to lead through influence, cultivating trust and collaboration across all teams and stakeholders. This is a remote-flexible position with expected travel for client and internal meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain executive-level partnerships with senior leaders at club retailers, positioning the company as a trusted partner.
- Act as a prominent leader within the club and wholesale retail space through engagement in industry forums and executive networks to enhance company reputation and market insight.
- Define and execute long-term strategy for the Club business unit in alignment with overall growth goals.
- Manage the complete P&L of the Club unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Lead and unify multiple retailer teams to cultivate a high-performing culture aligned with company values.
- Serve as the highest-level escalation contact and executive sponsor for client relationships across the Club channel.
- Oversee strategy implementation and performance evaluation for retailer teams ensuring structural efficacy.
- Stay informed on club retail industry dynamics, competitors, trends, opportunities, and risks to inform strategy.
- Steer organizational design and change management to support smooth transitions during growth phases.
- Collaborate with other company units and functions to maintain integrated strategies and service delivery.
- Promote company values and culture within the Club business unit fostering accountability and transparency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years progressive leadership experience in club/wholesale retail, retail, CPG, or related sectors with multi-team organizational leadership.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading effective teams, coaching leaders, and fostering accountability and engagement.
- At least 2 years experience managing relationships and strategy for two or more club retailers.
- Proven financial management skills with P&L ownership in complex retail settings.
- In-depth knowledge of club retail dynamics, partnerships, and market trends nationally.
- Excellent executive communication skills with experience influencing senior client and retailer leaders.
- Strong strategic thinking with expertise in long-term planning and decision-making in complex environments.
- Experience with organizational design, talent management, and enterprise-wide change leadership.
- Ability to build trust and alignment across diverse stakeholders without direct authority.
- Willing and able to travel regularly.
Preferred Experience
- Background in retail sales agencies, brokerages, or professional services supporting CPG clients.
- Familiarity with syndicated and retailer data platforms like Circana/IRI, NielsenIQ, MADRID, or CrX.
- Experience launching or growing retailer teams, developing succession plans, and future leaders.
Compensation and Benefits
This role offers an annual salary range between $240,000 and $285,000, complemented by eligibility for bonus participation.
