Role Summary

The Senior Vice President of Business Operations will own the direction and execution of business and operational strategy across the company’s logistics and supply chain operations. This is a full-time remote leadership role centered on improving efficiency, scaling processes, and strengthening overall performance. The position requires oversight of operations management, program delivery, and cross-functional initiatives that improve resource use and customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

This leader will set operational objectives, track performance metrics, manage budgets, and work closely with finance and senior leadership to support sustainable expansion. The role also includes leading continuous improvement programs, coaching senior managers, and ensuring that operational priorities stay aligned with company goals and market needs. In addition, the SVP will collaborate with technology, sales, and customer success teams to improve service reliability and the customer experience.

Qualifications

Candidates should bring deep experience in business operations and operations management within complex logistics or supply chain settings. A strong analytical background is needed to turn data into actionable insights and guide decisions. The role also calls for substantial program management experience, including leadership of large cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects. Sound finance knowledge is important, especially in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight. Senior leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain is strongly preferred, along with the ability to lead distributed teams in a remote environment. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills are essential.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or a related discipline is required. An MBA or another advanced degree is considered an advantage.
