Senior UI/UX Designer

Role Overview

This opening is managed by a partner company and seeks a Senior UI/UX Designer located in Ireland. The role focuses on crafting compelling digital experiences by integrating robust visual design, user experience principles, and technical knowledge.

The candidate will contribute to branding, web, content, and digital product design, translating ideas into refined and interactive experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Develop user-friendly, high-quality interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
• Convert briefs, business goals, and product requirements into detailed user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished designs.
• Create dynamic prototypes showcasing user interactions and experience beyond static visuals.
• Apply core design fundamentals including grids, spacing, typography, layout structure, usability, and accessibility.
• Leverage AI-enhanced design tools to boost ideation and rapid prototyping while maintaining design excellence.
• Work hand-in-hand with development teams to ensure faithful design execution.
• Communicate, justify, and advocate design decisions to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Organize design workflows to enable efficient delivery of projects.
• Bring forth innovative ideas and creative methodologies to enhance digital experiences.
• Support multidisciplinary projects including branding, websites, content, and digital marketing efforts.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 5 years' experience in UI/UX, product, or digital design at a senior level.
• A strong portfolio showcasing advanced UI/UX skills and creative expertise, especially within web environments.
• Mastery of Figma, including interactive prototyping and managing design systems.
• Deep understanding of UI/UX principles, information hierarchy, usability, responsive design, and accessibility basics.
• Exceptional visual design capabilities focusing on grids, spacing, typography, and composition.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively with developers and technical teams.
• Proven ability to evolve initial ideas into polished, production-ready digital products.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and creative thinking prowess.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with confidence in presenting design rationale.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within remote teams.
• Bonus skills include experience with immersive or highly interactive websites, basic front-end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), motion design or animation expertise, familiarity with AI-driven workflows, and experience with Adobe Creative Suite and mobile or e-commerce design.
