Senior Travel Consultant

Role Overview

BCD Travel’s Media & Entertainment team is looking for an experienced travel professional to manage complex travel arrangements for high-profile clients in the entertainment and publicity space. This role is suited to someone who can stay composed under pressure, give clear guidance, and help clients make well-informed travel choices.

You will support travel for VIPs, talent, press, A-listers, and groups, while balancing budgets, service quality, and fast-changing requirements. The position also involves close coordination with colleagues across regions to support a seamless global follow-the-sun service.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound travel enquiries promptly and accurately through multiple channels, including phone and email.
• Plan and adjust travel for VIP travellers, celebrities, press, talent, and group movements.
• Suggest practical and creative travel options that align with client needs and publicist requirements.
• Work within budget limits while still delivering the best possible travel solution.
• Manage itinerary changes, cancellations, and amendments, including recalculating domestic and international airfares.
• Arrange accommodation, meet-and-greet services, chauffeured transport, lounge access, and other premium travel support.
• Provide dependable customer service and handle client issues with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Maintain travel manifests and logs with accuracy.
• Ensure invoicing, billing, and itinerary details are correct in back-office systems.
• Stay informed about travel changes and restrictions, including those linked to the pandemic.
• Advise on visa requirements and country entry restrictions where relevant.
• Collaborate with international colleagues to support around-the-clock service coverage.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in entertainment travel or VIP travel is required.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Sabre GDS is expected, along with solid fares and ticketing expertise.
• Good global geography knowledge and strong attention to detail are important.
• Ability to manage several priorities at once and adapt quickly to change.
• Comfortable working independently while using sound judgement and discretion.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proven record of excellent customer service.
• Able to perform well under pressure.
• Flexible enough to adapt to different client cultures and work styles.
• Capable of working with international teams toward shared goals.
• Experience handling small or large group travel is an added advantage.
