About the Role
The Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) for Hematology will be fully field-based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with approximately 20% travel expected. The primary objective is to advance the commercial success and promote Stemline’s portfolio of current and upcoming hematology-focused products. This role centers on supporting patients through innovative therapies, expanding market presence within existing frameworks, fostering strong relationships with customers to build brand loyalty, and ensuring high customer satisfaction levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement strategic account plans supported by market intelligence and data analytics to maximize product adoption.
- Engage meaningfully with key external experts, healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and purchasing stakeholders to establish the brand as a trusted partner and deliver value throughout the healthcare system.
- Deliver educational content on disease states and distill clinical insights from peer interactions to meet business targets.
- Lead initiatives that map patient care pathways and enable formulary inclusions that improve patient accessibility.
- Work cross-functionally on forecasting, planning, and territory management to provide comprehensive stakeholder solutions.
- Maintain strict compliance with company standard operating procedures, ethical standards, and local industry legislation.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related life science discipline.
- A minimum of two years’ demonstrated experience and success in the Hematology or Oncology sectors.
- Strong commercial insight with strategic mindset and entrepreneurial drive toward achieving business goals, alongside the ability to craft and apply territory strategy using data-driven decisions.
- In-depth scientific knowledge and enthusiasm for innovative pharmaceutical products, capable of articulating product value in terms of both clinical benefits and cost-effectiveness.
- Basic familiarity with local market access and reimbursement frameworks, showing readiness to support budget and reimbursement discussions with healthcare centers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills coupled with resilience, adaptability, accountability, a patient-centered approach, and a self-starter attitude capable of working independently.
- The position requires full mobility and is 100% field-based, covering extensive territories.
- Fluent proficiency in English and Arabic languages is essential.
