Senior Test Manager (m/w/d)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning, coordination, and monitoring of all testing activities within client projects.
• Act as a pivotal figure driving quality assurance through agile methodologies, actively promoting innovative testing practices.
• Develop test strategies and plans collaboratively with development teams, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
• Advise clients on optimal testing methods and toolsets.
• Organize and oversee automated testing focused on domain-specific benefits, ensuring software products meet specifications.
• Manage test execution phases and prepare detailed test reports for clients.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in (business) computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field, or an equivalent IT-related qualification.
• Strong theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience with testing methodologies and tools, including the use of automation tools like Playwright.
• Proven experience in test strategy development, planning, and execution, preferably using Xray; expertise in creating and conducting test cases and scenarios; experience in automating tests for web and desktop applications is advantageous.
• Several years of leadership experience managing larger test teams and steering complex software projects with a focus on quality assurance.
• Preferably holds ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Management or Foundation Level certification, or willingness to obtain such certification soon.
• Excellent German skills (C1) and good English proficiency (B2), both written and spoken.
