Role Overview

VulnCheck is looking for a Senior Talent Partner to lead hiring across some of its most challenging and competitive areas. The role covers niche technical positions such as cybersecurity researchers, exploit developers, and software engineers, as well as post-sales and go-to-market roles including Customer Success Engineers, Technical Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Sales, and Marketing. This is a hands-on, sourcing-led position for someone who can move quickly, build strong relationships with hiring managers, and consistently improve hiring quality.

You will work at the center of recruiting execution and talent partnership, coordinating pipelines across several functions at once while also helping shape the company’s talent practices. This is a fully remote position, with preference for candidates based in the Greater Boston or Austin, Texas area. The role reports to the Director of Talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run end-to-end recruiting for technical and go-to-market teams, covering Engineering, Research, Product, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Sales from intake through offer acceptance and pre-boarding.
  • Lead proactive sourcing across several channels for difficult-to-fill positions such as Senior Software Engineers, Vulnerability Researchers, Exploit Developers, AI/ML Engineers, Customer Success Engineers, and Technical Account Managers.
  • Work closely with hiring managers in the US and UK to clarify role needs, design interview processes, align on hiring standards, and keep searches moving efficiently.
  • Own the candidate journey from start to finish, including interview scheduling, ongoing communication, debrief coordination, offer discussions, negotiation support, and pre-start logistics.
  • Keep Greenhouse data accurate and up to date, and share regular progress updates on open roles, market feedback, and hiring pace.
  • Participate in compensation discussions, leveling decisions, and role definition as business needs change.
  • Coordinate onboarding support for new hires within your assigned functions.
  • Partner with the Director of Talent on people initiatives and other HR operations as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with success hiring both technical and go-to-market or post-sales roles.
  • Hands-on experience recruiting in cybersecurity or a related deep-tech environment, with a solid understanding of the market and candidate profiles.
  • A strong sourcing mindset, including the ability to build talent pipelines before roles are formally opened and reach passive candidates effectively.
  • Good judgment with hiring stakeholders, including the ability to earn trust, evaluate candidates thoughtfully, and push back when standards are slipping.
  • Comfort working in a lean startup environment, especially one that is fast-paced, ambiguous, and expects a high level of ownership.
  • Strong communication and candidate management skills, with the ability to keep candidates informed and respected throughout the process.
  • Preferred experience with both technical and commercial hiring in the same organization or role.
  • Helpful familiarity with cybersecurity-specific roles such as vulnerability researchers, offensive security professionals, exploit developers, or AI/ML engineers.
  • Useful experience hiring for customer success engineering, technical account management, solutions engineering, or similar post-sales technical roles.
  • Prior use of Greenhouse ATS is preferred.
  • Exposure to HR generalist or HRBP work is valued but not mandatory.
  • Experience hiring across the US, UK, and/or APAC markets is a plus.

Compensation

VulnCheck provides competitive pay aligned with experience, and the package may include salary, equity, and, where relevant, performance-based compensation. Details about total rewards can be discussed during the interview process.
