Job description
Role overview
McGraw Hill creates digital learning solutions that improve the experience for learners and educators. The organization emphasizes useful, connected products, cross-functional collaboration, innovation, and a healthy balance between professional growth and personal well-being.
In this position, you will serve as a senior recruiting partner for the Sales organization. The role combines strategic hiring support, data-led recruiting practices, AI-enabled sourcing tools, and close business partnership to help build strong sales teams that support revenue growth.
You will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, helping shape hiring decisions, interpreting market trends, and developing talent pipelines that strengthen the company’s competitive position.
This is a remote role open only to candidates who are authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
Key responsibilities
You will lead recruitment for sales roles end to end, from intake and strategy planning through candidate selection and offer management. You will work closely with business leaders to align hiring plans with growth objectives and workforce needs.
The role also involves customizing the employer value proposition for different business groups, proactively building diverse pipelines, and using AI-powered sourcing, matching, screening, scheduling, and communication tools to improve speed and quality.
You will partner with hiring managers on interview strategy and hiring decisions, provide candidate experiences that feel personal and high-touch, and keep candidates engaged throughout the process.
In addition, you will use ATS and CRM systems, specialized recruiting tools, and recruiting metrics to improve process performance. You will collaborate across business units, regions, and global talent acquisition teams, and represent TA as a strategic advisor in sales-related meetings and team events.
Qualifications and experience
The employer is looking for someone with at least 6 years of talent acquisition experience across a variety of roles and functions, including 3 or more years recruiting for sales and go-to-market teams.
Successful candidates should have a strong record of hiring in a corporate setting, the ability to build and execute strategic recruiting plans, and deep knowledge of sourcing approaches, talent mapping, and competitive intelligence.
A consultative style is essential, along with advanced skill in ATS and CRM platforms, modern sourcing technology, AI-enabled recruiting tools, and Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience in related talent areas such as onboarding, performance management, or employee development is considered an advantage, as is familiarity with recruiting analytics and data-driven decision-making.
Compensation and benefits
The annual salary range for this role is $90,000 to $110,000. Actual pay may differ based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
An annual bonus opportunity may also be included, along with a full range of medical and other benefits depending on the position.
Important notice
The recruiting team uses official company email addresses ending in @mheducation.com and messages from the Applicant Tracking System, iCIMS. Any other variation of the email domain should be treated as suspicious. The company also states that it will never ask for sensitive information by email.
