Job description

Role Overview

Advocate Construction is looking for a senior recruiter who can drive high-volume hiring for its expanding sales teams across six states. This position is designed for someone who prefers ownership over routine task handling: you will manage the full recruitment cycle, influence hiring approach, and directly contribute to organizational growth. The role sits with the Sales leadership team and requires an independent, fast-moving recruiting style.

This is a high-activity talent acquisition role centered on entry-level sales and field-based hiring. Instead of waiting for candidates to apply, you will actively source prospects, build a long-term talent pipeline, and move them into the CRM for ongoing nurturing. The work will involve using the Phenom platform and related automation tools to keep outreach running continuously and to support aggressive hiring goals with speed and consistency.

Owned Outcomes

  • A strong, scalable flow of top-of-funnel candidates.
  • Fast movement from outreach or application to qualified screening.
  • Steady achievement of hiring goals for high-volume sales requisitions.
  • Accurate and well-maintained data across recruiting systems.

Core Responsibilities

The role combines proactive sourcing, rapid screening, candidate funnel management, and recruitment technology ownership.

High-Volume Sourcing Strategy

  • Create and sustain a continuously active talent pipeline.
  • Use advanced sourcing methods to attract both volume and quality.
  • Launch effective email and SMS outreach campaigns and keep prospects engaged through the Talent Community.

Rapid-Cycle Recruitment

  • Handle large applicant volumes while protecting speed and candidate experience.
  • Independently manage end-to-end hiring for entry-level sales positions.

Assessment & Funneling

  • Quickly evaluate candidates and separate top talent from the broader applicant pool.
  • Review one-way video interview responses and/or conduct virtual screenings before sending candidates to hiring leaders for in-person behavioral interviews.
  • Serve as both a sourcing specialist and a recruiting advisor who presents only high-quality candidates to the business.

Recruitment Technology Mastery

  • Act as an advanced user of the Phenom recruiting platform.
  • Use automation for drip campaigns, targeted outreach, and clean data management so the recruiting engine runs efficiently.

Success Measures

  • High-volume recruiting operates like a predictable, high-performing system.
  • Leadership consistently receives a strong slate of vetted candidates for final interviews.
  • Recruitment technology is optimized and reduces manual administrative effort.
  • Conversion rates remain strong, helping secure entry-level talent quickly.

Qualifications

Applicants should bring deep experience in fast-paced recruiting and the confidence to work independently across several open requisitions at once.

  • At least 5 years of experience in high-volume recruiting, especially for entry-level sales or field-based roles.
  • Ability to work at full pace with limited supervision while managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Track record of screening and qualifying candidates quickly to keep the funnel moving.
  • Strong command of enterprise ATS/CRM tools; experience with automated campaigns is highly preferred, especially in Phenom.

Work Environment & Requirements

  • This is a remote position, and the company provides a communications stipend to help cover phone and internet costs.
  • Some travel will be needed for in-person collaboration with hiring partners and leadership outside your home market.
  • Preference will be given to candidates located in St. Louis, Chicago, or Milwaukee.
  • Employment depends on successful completion of a background check and Motor Vehicle Record review.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Benefits

  • 9 paid holidays plus PTO.
  • Monthly communication stipend.
  • Access to strong technology and tools to support the role.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with a generous company match.
  • Career growth and leadership advancement opportunities.

Additional Information

This role is focused on high-volume talent acquisition for a growing sales organization. The company is seeking someone who can build process, improve efficiency, and operate with a high level of autonomy in a fast-scaling environment.
