Job description
Position Overview
We are searching for a proactive, strategic, and hands-on Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist who will also serve as a Team Lead, responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle. This role involves directing the recruitment team, refining hiring processes, and implementing sourcing strategies to attract exceptional talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy: Guide and mentor the recruitment team to ensure performance targets and KPIs are achieved consistently.
- Enhance recruitment workflows by designing and applying efficient systems including automation tools like Power Automate and advanced ATS platforms, facilitating smooth candidate tracking and onboarding.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership, department heads, and operational managers to precisely understand staffing needs, provide insightful market data, and effectively manage candidate pools.
- Healthcare Compliance & Licensing: Serve as the expert on UAE healthcare recruitment compliance, ensuring all hired medical and clinical professionals meet DOH (Abu Dhabi), DHA (Dubai), and MOHAP (Northern Emirates) regulatory requirements.
- Supervise credential verification processes such as Dataflow, coordinate exam scheduling, and manage professional license transfer or issuance.
- Strictly adhere to local labor laws and health authorities’ guidelines to reduce compliance risks throughout recruitment and onboarding stages.
- Sourcing & Talent Pipeline: Employ advanced sourcing skills, including Boolean and X-ray searches, along with leveraging professional networks to maintain a strong pool of both active and passive candidates.
- Manage partnerships with external recruitment agencies, licensing consultants, and academic institutions for recruitment campaigns and career events.
- Promote the company’s employer brand at relevant industry forums, job expos, and open days to attract top professionals.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior supervisory role.
- Demonstrated specialization in healthcare recruitment within the UAE is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of licensing standards and procedures governed by DOH, DHA, and MOHAP.
- Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems, CRMs, and HR automation tools.
- Excellent communication abilities in English, both written and verbal, combined with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Capacity to analyze recruitment metrics including Time-to-Hire, Cost-per-Hire, and pipeline velocity and report these findings to senior leadership.
