Senior Supply Chain AI Analytics Specialist

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned professional specializing in Artificial Intelligence-driven analytics within the supply chain domain. This role is responsible for spearheading the development and deployment of advanced AI solutions aimed at enhancing various supply chain functions including forecasting, inventory control, logistics, procurement, and operational decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and deploy AI and sophisticated analytics tools to support supply chain planning and execution.
• Create predictive analytics models targeting demand forecasting, optimizing inventory levels, replenishment strategies, and capacity planning.
• Interpret extensive datasets to detect patterns, potential risks, and growth opportunities throughout the supply chain.
• Collaborate closely with business units to transform operational issues into data-driven solutions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and performance indicators to track supply chain efficiency and business impact.
• Coordinate with data engineering teams to maintain data integrity, govern standards, and build scalable analytical pipelines.
• Implement and manage machine learning models within production environments.
• Discover and promote automation possibilities in supply chain processes leveraging AI and intelligent automation technologies.
• Facilitate Sales and Operations Planning through predictive scenario modeling and analytical insights.
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts and data scientists, fostering adherence to analytics best practices.
• Keep abreast of emerging AI trends and propose innovative applications to enhance supply chain capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or related disciplines.
• Robust knowledge of supply chain frameworks including demand planning, inventory oversight, procurement strategies, manufacturing processes, and logistics.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn; experience with R is advantageous.
• Familiarity with data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Experience using cloud services including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of machine learning methodologies, forecasting algorithms, optimization techniques, and statistical data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Excellent analytical aptitude, problem-solving capabilities, and communication skills.
