Role Focus

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Social Media Manager to support our 'MagentaMusik' team in Berlin. This position demands a creative mind with a solid background in social media, a client-focused attitude, and a passion for delivering impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting processes and independently oversee social media client accounts.
• Lead project management and documentation from inquiry, proposal preparation, negotiation, through to project completion.
• Develop, maintain, and execute effective social media strategies and campaigns.
• Advise clients on feasibility and execution of conceptual ideas for various initiatives.
• Conduct market analysis including competitor assessment.
• Coordinate and implement content production efforts.
• Establish workflows for social media management including crisis communication and community engagement.
• Review existing and planned social media activities for clients for quality and effectiveness.
• Plan budgets in collaboration with clients.
• Create presentations, schedules, and brief project stakeholders.
• Onboard, guide, and supervise team members and freelance professionals.

Candidate Qualifications

• A minimum of five years of experience in communications agencies, specializing in social media.
• Proven expertise in strategic client consulting and post-project performance evaluation.
• Confident demeanor with strong presentation skills.
• Fluent in German and English with excellent command of language and writing proficiency.
• Highly creative with strong conceptual abilities.
• Team-oriented, structured, goal-driven, and maintaining a high quality standard.
• Experienced in client communication and strategic brand development.
• Comprehensive knowledge of social media and digital marketing, including campaign management, platform operation, community and content management, project oversight, and monitoring tools.
• Hands-on experience in content production execution.
• Excellent understanding of digital marketing and online campaigns.
• Strong communication, presentation, and moderation skills.
• Confident, approachable, and trustworthy individual.
• Familiarity with agency project management methodologies, software, and tools.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications such as PowerPoint and Excel.
• Proactive work attitude with high dedication.
• Willingness to travel as required.
