As an Australian-owned company with an annual turnover nearing $500 million and a workforce of more than 300 professionals nationwide, BADGE is expanding and seeking a seasoned Senior Site Manager to oversee a landmark $90 million commercial endeavor.

Role Overview

Starting onsite in September, you will take charge of constructing a multi-level development featuring an underground basement car park. This complex project involves intricate structural sequencing, retention systems, and extensive collaboration among various trades and disciplines. You will work in close partnership with a seasoned Project Manager and be supported by dedicated Contract Administrators, Project Engineers, and Safety Officers. You will directly supervise two Site Supervisors to ensure the project’s successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of the major commercial construction project from commencement through to practical completion.
Oversee and mentor two Site Supervisors and the site delivery teams.
Coordinate a well-resourced team comprising Project Engineers, Contract Administrators, and Safety Officers.
Manage quality, safety, and environmental standards across the project.
Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project.
Supervise subcontractors and major structural and services contracts.
Control crane operations, logistics, and construction staging.
Review and enforce Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) and ensure adherence to applicable laws.
Interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documentation accurately.
Ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Candidate Profile

Demonstrated experience managing projects approximately $90 million or higher.
Proven track record of overseeing projects from initial site setup through to handover.
Extensive experience with multi-storey commercial, residential, hotel, or aged care developments of six or more storeys.
Strong expertise in basement construction, underground parking facilities, and complex structural works.
Hands-on experience managing retention wall systems.
Comprehensive knowledge of tower crane sequencing, logistics, and construction phases.
Proficiency in programming construction activities using Microsoft Project.
Effective leadership abilities with experience supervising Site Supervisors and teams.
Excellent stakeholder communication and management skills.
Commitment to quality assurance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.

A QBCC Site Supervisor Licence, relevant trade experience, or a tertiary qualification in construction is highly advantageous.
