Role Overview

Due to expansion and a robust pipeline of projects, a Tier 1 building contractor in Ireland is seeking an experienced General Foreperson to oversee construction activities for projects in Cork. The role involves supervising concrete works, ensuring compliance with regulations and project specifications, and collaborating closely with site teams to maintain the highest quality standards.

Projects

The projects cover residential, life sciences, and commercial sectors.

Key Duties

• Collaborate with Health and Safety teams to maintain a compliant and safe work environment.
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate the performance of all subcontractors involved.
• Track and monitor adherence to project schedules.
• Provide clear guidance and uphold motivation among team members.
• Foster effective teamwork on site.

Qualifications & Experience

• Significant experience in civil construction roles.
• Proven ability to manage large contractor teams efficiently.
• Strong capacity to meet tight deadlines and project targets.
• Demonstrates effective leadership capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary ranges from €75,000 to €85,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience.
