Overview
This position supports a partner organization seeking a Senior Scientist with expertise in analytics and research, focusing on enhancing healthcare experience through data-driven insights. The role blends advanced survey methodology with statistical skills and strategic advice to ensure reliable, actionable healthcare measurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead methodological expertise for research programs, analytics projects, benchmarking, and measurement solutions.
- Provide scientific guidance on survey design, analytics protocols, and measurement approaches.
- Oversee the creation, evaluation, and refinement of survey tools and measurement frameworks.
- Apply advanced skills in questionnaire design, sampling, psychometrics, weighting, and bias mitigation.
- Ensure measurement reliability and validity via validation studies and methodological assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Product, Engineering, Data Science, Operations, and Advisory groups.
- Develop and manage benchmarking methodologies and quality standards.
- Assess impacts of methodological changes on reporting and stakeholder confidence.
- Utilize statistical techniques to identify key performance drivers and trends.
- Convey complex research outcomes into clear, actionable insights for business and healthcare improvements.
- Lead pilot studies and innovation efforts involving new technologies and AI in measurement.
- Construct evidence-based frameworks to gauge new methodology effectiveness.
- Act as a subject matter expert in patient experience measurement and healthcare analytics.
- Create thought leadership content and represent the organization in industry and client forums.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in fields such as Survey Methodology, Statistics, Psychometrics, Sociology, Psychology, quantitative social sciences, or healthcare-related disciplines.
- More than 7 years of professional experience in survey research, analytics, or measurement science.
- Expertise in survey methodologies including questionnaire design, psychometric testing, sampling, weighting, and bias control.
- Experience with experimental designs, A/B testing, randomized controlled trials, qualitative and mixed methods research.
- Proven skills to translate analytical data into impactful recommendations.
- Strong understanding of benchmarking, measurement frameworks, and data governance.
- Preferred experience in healthcare measurement and patient experience analytics.
- Competence in evaluating new research technologies and AI applications.
- Proficiency in analytical software such as SPSS, R, Python, and SQL.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for stakeholder engagement and influence.
- Ability to integrate scientific rigor with practical business needs in dynamic environments.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to growth.
