Role overview
Rockwell is hiring an experienced project scheduler to join a growing engineering team on a permanent, full-time basis. The position is initially attached to a mechanical engineering project in Limerick, County Limerick, Ireland.
What you will do
- Create project schedules during the pre-tender phase.
- Assist the project team with schedule development after contract award.
- Keep schedules up to date by working closely with Project Managers.
- Contribute to weekly and monthly progress reporting.
- Ensure scheduling aligns with the project contract requirements and milestone plan.
- Spot risks and issues early, then address them or escalate them as needed.
- Carry out critical path analysis and identify potential project blockages at an early stage.
- Collaborate with the leadership team on project planning and resource allocation.
Required experience and skills
- Demonstrated experience in project scheduling within engineering or construction environments.
- Hands-on expertise with MS Project and Primavera P6 is required.
- Previous exposure to the Pharma or Life Sciences sector.
- Strong technical and IT capability.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work effectively without close supervision.
