Senior SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Consultant specializing in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) to join our global HRIS team located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This pivotal position requires expertise in architecting, designing, and deploying complex payroll solutions internationally across North America, Asia-Pacific, and EMEA regions. The role demands advanced technical proficiency in creating custom payroll rules and schemas for countries lacking standard SuccessFactors localizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementations of SAP SuccessFactors ECP across multiple global regions, ensuring successful payroll rollouts.
• Design and develop customized payroll frameworks for countries without built-in SAP localizations, including tax calculations, statutory reporting, and benefits computations.
• Deploy and optimize Payroll Control Center (PCC) functionalities to enhance payroll operations and error management.
• Create, modify, and troubleshoot intricate Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs) and payroll schemas to meet diverse statutory and enterprise requirements globally.
• Manage point-to-point integration between Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP) to guarantee seamless data replication.
• Lead rigorous testing phases to validate payroll outputs against legacy systems and resolve any inconsistencies prior to implementation.
• Continuously monitor regulatory updates and apply SAP Notes and legal change packages, particularly adapting these for custom localizations.
• Collaborate closely with payroll managers, finance, and IT teams to align payroll systems with strategic business and compliance objectives.
• Mentor junior consultants and internal payroll administrators in ECP best practices and system usage.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 6 years of direct experience in SAP SuccessFactors ECP and SAP HCM Payroll systems.
• Practical experience leading payroll implementations across North America, APAC, and EMEA regions.
• Demonstrated ability to configure complex custom payroll localizations including gross-to-net calculations, tax frameworks, and statutory reporting.
• Deep technical skills in SAP Payroll schemas, PCR customization, and wage type management.
• Strong knowledge of integration mechanisms between EC and ECP, including mastery of Data Replication Monitor and employee APIs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving complex payroll calculation issues.

Preferred Skills

• Valid SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll certification.
• Experience integrating ECP with external benefits and financial systems like SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Familiarity with SuccessFactors Time Tracking modules and time-off replication into ECP.
