Role Overview
This position is for an experienced finance professional to support Record-to-Report, financial accounting, and Financial Planning & Analysis activities. The role combines month-end accounting, reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder coordination in a global finance environment.
RTR / General Accounting Responsibilities
- Handle book closure activities and support end-to-end month-end accounting processes.
- Prepare complex journal entries, accruals, provisions, and other period-end adjustments.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the integrity of reconciled accounts.
- Manage fixed asset accounting, lease accounting, and escheatment-related work.
- Support property tax, compliance, and financial reporting activities as required.
- Ensure accounting output is accurate, controlled, and delivered within agreed SLA timelines.
- Use Oracle ERP for accounting operations, reporting, and process efficiency.
- Apply IFRS knowledge and strong accounting judgment in daily work.
FP&A Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities.
- Coordinate delivery management for FP&A processes, including SLA and KPI tracking.
- Work with stakeholders and internal customers to meet reporting and planning needs.
- Assist in resource planning, team coordination, and management-related activities.
- Use Oracle ERP, Hyperion, Power BI, and advanced Excel for planning and analysis.
- Contribute to strategic planning by turning financial data into business recommendations.
- Monitor operational metrics such as forecast accuracy, report turnaround time, and analysis cycle time.
- Prepare clear presentations and narratives for leadership and executive review.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate should have 2 to 8 years of experience in finance and accounting processes, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. The role requires hands-on experience in balance sheet reconciliations, month-end activities, reporting across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles, and familiarity with automation and process improvement. Strong problem-solving ability, team handling skills, stakeholder management, and advanced Excel capability are important for success in this role.
