Overview
Qatar Airways invites candidates to join its Revenue Management division as a Senior Revenue Management Analyst in Doha, Qatar. This pivotal role involves detailed analysis of revenue data such as passenger booking trends, pricing dynamics, inventory availability, and group demand to underpin strategic commercial decisions that enhance revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze diverse revenue management metrics including booking patterns, yield, market share, and demand forecasting to inform commercial strategies.
- Monitor and forecast route demand and cancellations, introducing inventory controls to maximize revenue efficiency.
- Perform scenario modeling and evaluate revenue impacts of fare and rule changes within interline and codeshare partnerships, offering actionable recommendations.
- Assist in shaping interline policies and offline pricing strategies through meticulous data analysis to boost passenger revenue generation.
- Assess market conditions, competitor movements, economic and political factors, and operational changes to gauge and mitigate impacts on revenues.
- Deploy revenue management tools such as PROS and Amadeus RAAV to manage pricing, availability, and passenger acceptance controls.
- Work collaboratively with various internal teams and the revenue management department to support route launches, capacity adjustments, and revenue enhancement programs.
- Implement revenue management tactics addressing yield improvement, load factor optimization, overbooking, group and alliance demand, focusing on revenue growth and risk reduction.
Qualifications and Skills
- University degree or equivalent with at least 5 years' relevant industry experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of airline revenue management principles including forecasting, pricing, and inventory control.
- Strong analytical acumen with capability to work with complex datasets and deliver commercially sound insights.
- Practical experience using airline revenue systems like PROS, Amadeus RAAV, or comparable pricing platforms.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with business intelligence or data visualization tools is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities to effectively collaborate and influence across teams.
