Key Responsibilities
- Lead the prompt and precise preparation of weekly and monthly management reports for the Trading Department, highlighting trends, variances, and drivers influencing performance.
- Interpret complex financial information to provide clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations that improve commercial results, while proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with Buying teams to develop periodic and annual sales and gross profit forecasts and monitor critical profitability metrics.
- Assist the Commercial Finance Manager in monitoring financial relationships, assessing contractual terms, and evaluating financial performances of key partners such as Hilton Foods.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CPR team by offering expert advice on financial outcomes, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Identify and implement enhancements to financial processes to increase data accuracy and streamline overall reporting capabilities.
- Provide leadership through mentoring employees and training business teams to deepen their understanding of key drivers of profitability.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a finance-related degree along with a professional accounting credential.
- Demonstrate substantial experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and comprehensive commercial analysis.
- Exhibit strong collaborative skills with a history of developing successful partnerships and negotiating favorable results with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Showcase exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying financial data storytelling to influence senior decision-makers.
- Apply strategic thinking to analyze both internal and external factors, deriving insights from complex data to propose effective strategies for short- and long-term growth.
