Senior Reservoir Manager

Overview

This position involves leading technical evaluations of upstream oil and gas assets to guide investment, business development, and asset management decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze upstream assets including exploration, appraisal, development, and producing fields to assess performance and development potential.
• Perform evaluations of reservoir performance, recovery prospects, and feasibility studies for field development.
• Carry out resource and reserves estimations, production forecasting, and uncertainty analysis.
• Provide expertise for field development plans, including well placement and production strategy formulation.
• Contribute to technical due diligence efforts related to acquisitions, farm-ins, and asset transactions.
• Review producing assets to identify opportunities for enhanced recovery and production optimization.
• Provide reservoir engineering input for portfolio screening, opportunity prioritization, and investment recommendations.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years industry experience in upstream oil and gas.
• Demonstrated experience across exploration, appraisal, development, and producing assets.
• Proven skills in reservoir performance analysis, reserves evaluation, and production forecasting.
• Experience in asset evaluation, reserves assessment, or conducting technical due diligence.
• Effective collaboration in multidisciplinary teams integrating geology, geophysics, and reservoir engineering disciplines.
• Proficiency with relevant industry software such as Eclipse, MBAL, OFM, Aries, or other equivalent tools.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering or a closely related field is required.
• Master’s degree (MSc) is preferred.
