Job description

About the organisation

HomeMade, Mable, Leap In!, and Mable Direct are part of the Attain Healthtech Group of companies. Although each business serves a different purpose, they are united by a shared mission to improve the care and support sector, use technology as an enabler, and help customers achieve better outcomes.

This role sits within the Mable team.

About Mable

Mable is a fast-growing Australian healthtech platform that helps people with disability and older Australians connect with independent support workers on flexible terms that suit their needs. Since 2014, the platform has enabled more than 25 million hours of support and has earned recognition including AFR Top 100, Deloitte Tech Fast 50, and a previous Australian Growth & Technology Growth Company of the Year award.

Joining Mable means becoming part of a high-energy, high-output team that is helping drive meaningful change across Australia's care and support landscape.

The opportunity

As Senior Recruiter, you will be central to attracting, engaging, and hiring exceptional people who will help shape the organisation's future. You will bring deep experience in sourcing, assessment, and stakeholder partnership to build a strong, diverse workforce aligned with the company's mission and values.

You will also help raise the standard of recruitment practices, contribute to pipeline building, and balance direct delivery with proactive talent engagement to support both current and future hiring needs.

This is a Sydney-based position with a hybrid schedule of two days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with hiring managers, including team leaders and executives, to understand workforce needs and create targeted sourcing plans.
  • Reach out to candidates through a mix of channels such as job boards, social platforms, professional networks, and referrals.
  • Screen applications, run initial conversations, and create structured interview guides to assess capability, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Own the recruitment process from interview coordination through to offer management.
  • Develop and maintain strong candidate pipelines for immediate openings as well as future hiring demand.
  • Manage recruitment agency and external partner relationships to broaden access to strong talent.
  • Keep ATS records accurate and up to date in Lever, and prepare recruitment reporting in Google Sheets covering pipeline status, hiring metrics, and candidate experience feedback.
  • Look for opportunities to improve recruitment workflows, policies, and tools through efficiency gains and automation.
  • Stay current with talent market trends, hiring practices, and industry developments to keep recruitment approaches effective.
  • Collaborate with the wider People team on initiatives that support talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention.
  • Coach internal managers on interview techniques and assessment best practices to ensure a consistent hiring experience.

What you bring

You are a seasoned recruiter who is motivated by outcomes and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy connecting talented people with purposeful work and know how to manage complexity across multiple roles and stakeholders.

  • At least 5 years of recruitment experience, ideally gained in a high-growth organisation; experience in tech start-ups or healthtech is an advantage.
  • Strong command of the full hiring lifecycle, with the ability to juggle competing priorities and multiple vacancies.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • Strong judgement in evaluating candidate potential, supported by data-informed decision-making.
  • Advanced experience using LinkedIn Recruiter to source and engage talent.
  • Ownership mindset, with initiative, accountability, and a strong sense of responsibility for results.
  • Adaptability and resilience when working through change and new challenges.

Values and culture

Mable is guided by four core ways of working: being switched on, bold, one, and impactful. These values reflect a culture that listens closely to the community, thinks creatively, collaborates across differences, and moves quickly to create meaningful change.

As part of Attain Healthtech, the organisation also shares the principles of breaking new ground, making it matter, and owning the outcome.

Benefits

  • Career development through learning from experienced leaders, industry experts, and on-the-job opportunities.
  • 14 weeks of paid parental leave for primary carers and 6 weeks for secondary carers, plus superannuation.
  • Flexible working in a hybrid environment that blends office and remote work.
  • An extra paid Flexi Leave Day each quarter.
  • Access to a floating public holiday so you can recognise a significant day in your own way.
  • Reward and recognition support to celebrate achievements and strong performance.

Inclusion

The organisation welcomes people from all backgrounds and encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Candidates are also encouraged to apply even if they do not meet every requirement listed.
