Job description

About the company

HomeMade, Mable, Leap In! and Mable Direct sit within the Attain Healthtech Group. Although each brand serves a different part of the business, they are united by a shared purpose: improving care and support outcomes, using technology thoughtfully, and helping customers achieve better results.

This role belongs to the Mable team.

About Mable

Mable is among Australia’s leading and fastest-growing healthtech platforms. Its mission-led marketplace connects thousands of people with disability and older Australians to independent support workers who can be chosen based on individual needs and preferences.

Since 2014, the platform has enabled more than 25 million hours of support. The business has also received recognition through AFR’s Top 100, Deloitte Tech Fast 50, and a previous award for Australian Growth & Technology Growth Company of the Year.

Joining Mable means becoming part of a high-output, fast-moving team working on meaningful improvements across Australia’s care and support sectors.

About the role

As Product Manager, you will work across multiple functions to shape and deliver a customer experience that is both scalable and enjoyable. You will champion technology as a way to solve difficult customer challenges, while staying empathetic and consultative with both internal teams and external users.

The role requires comfort in a complicated, rapidly changing regulatory setting, along with the ability to provide clear direction and sensible options. The work is expected to create real impact for customers and the wider community.

Key responsibilities

  • Guide a high-performing product squad made up of UX, data and engineering team members, keeping the team focused on strategic priorities.
  • Identify what users want and expect from the marketplace, then translate that understanding into a strong customer experience.
  • Work closely with marketing, customer service, finance, legal, engineering and data functions through strong collaboration and leadership.
  • Navigate regulatory requirements across NDIS, Support at Home and related frameworks.
  • Balance customer needs, engineering realities and commercial goals to shape the product backlog and roadmap.
  • Run rapid qualitative and quantitative testing to learn quickly and improve the product in short cycles.
  • Share the squad’s product work and outcomes clearly with both internal stakeholders and external audiences.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience in consumer SaaS, e-commerce or marketplace environments.
  • Strong experience with analytics tools and reporting, paired with a solid history of using data to make decisions.
  • Comfort working in agile teams, including backlog grooming and sprint planning with engineering partners.
  • Ability to take input from diverse stakeholders and guide them toward a well-defined, polished solution.
  • Interest in speaking directly with customers and using their feedback to improve the product.
  • Capability to understand both the customer problem in front of you and the broader impact on internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in regulated environments is advantageous.

Company values

The team describes its culture through the following principles: listening closely to customers and the sector, being creative and ambitious in solving problems, collaborating with respect and inclusion, and acting quickly to create meaningful change.

Shared values across Attain Healthtech also include simplifying care through bold thinking, centring people and impact, and taking ownership to deliver lasting outcomes.

Benefits

  • Learn and grow through access to industry experts, experienced leaders and on-the-job learning opportunities.
  • Receive 14 weeks of paid parental leave for primary carers and 6 weeks for secondary carers, plus superannuation.
  • Enjoy a flexible working model that combines office time with remote work.
  • Get one additional paid Flexi Leave Day each quarter.
  • Take a floating public holiday to observe a meaningful day in your own way.
  • Be recognised for strong performance through a reward and recognition program.

Eligibility and inclusion

The employer welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds, including those with family responsibilities, different ethnicities, faiths, sexual orientations and gender identities. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply. Candidates are also invited to apply even if they do not meet every listed requirement, as diverse experience is valued.
