About the Role
The Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA) is looking for a seasoned Senior Quality & Training Officer to join their team. This full-time, permanent position is based in Brisbane CBD with flexible working arrangements, allowing up to 60% remote work post onboarding. The role centers on supporting the Quality & Training team by providing coaching, fostering development, and delivering training designed to improve organizational capabilities. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with leadership and stakeholders to identify learning needs and implement instructional design and quality assurance practices that uplift service delivery and cultivate continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver coaching and development support to Quality & Training team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
- Design, facilitate, and evaluate training programs based on adult learning theories and modern methodologies.
- Engage with leaders and stakeholders to assess capability requirements and develop tailored learning solutions.
- Monitor quality standards, analyze performance data, and contribute insights for continual improvement.
- Lead projects and support change initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Contribute to knowledge management activities that enhance team performance.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience creating and implementing training programs using contemporary adult learning principles.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance and continuous improvement frameworks to foster better business outcomes.
- Ability to mentor, coach, and develop individual and team capabilities effectively.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills across organizational levels.
- Demonstrated proficiency in analysis, problem-solving, and data-driven decision making.
- Experience leading projects and managing complex change processes successfully.
Highly Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with learning development tools such as Articulate 360, Vyond, and Snagit.
- Possession of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
