Senior Project Manager - Hotel Assets

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead the construction and delivery of hotel-related projects within the development. This pivotal role requires setting clear project directions, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget, and maintaining strict compliance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion a culture prioritizing health, safety, and wellbeing by empowering the team to take 'Stop Work' safety actions and collaborate with HSE for full regulatory compliance including conducting safety audits.
• Drive team performance by establishing individual objectives, managing and developing resources to maximize output.
• Lead strategic planning and execution of the entire project lifecycle, coordinating across design, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning to deliver assets that meet approved designs and budgets within schedule milestones.
• Allocate resources efficiently, oversee contractors and delivery partners, and manage schedules, budgets, and quality and safety standards rigorously.
• Coordinate multiple disciplines to maintain a comprehensive overview of project timelines, cost management, risks, and safety opportunities.
• Ensure that execution plans receive approval and compliance from all key stakeholders.
• Regularly provide status updates and comprehensive reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement industry best practices across projects.
• Maintain high-quality standards for project deliverables, supporting commercial teams to manage finances within budget.
• Encourage cross-functional collaboration across teams and regional districts to ensure seamless project integration.
• Manage interfaces within and between projects to ensure alignment and coordination.
• Partner with delivery teams to develop annual objectives, resource allocation plans, critical milestones, stakeholder engagement, and other essential project requirements.
• Ensure design requirements align precisely with contractual obligations by reviewing, identifying gaps, providing feedback, and driving resolutions.
• Lead thorough design reviews to guarantee compliance with contract specifications and address any conflicts effectively.
• Collaborate closely with procurement teams during scoping, tender evaluation, and performance analysis phases.
• Oversee project meetings including value engineering, problem resolution, design reviews, construction inspections, training for junior staff, proposal evaluations, executive summaries, contract negotiations, and public engagement activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related disciplines preferred.
• 12 to 15 years of progressive experience managing complex, large-scale projects from inception through to completion.
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience working on large-scale mega design and construction programs within private or government sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise in business systems implementation, policy development, and procedural management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to set goals, motivate teams, and drive successful project outcomes.
• Capability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced conditions and make sound decisions informed by industry knowledge.
• Proven team collaboration skills across diverse departments and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with applicable industry regulations, standards, and best practice guidelines.
