Role Overview
Seven is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver office interior tenant improvement projects across commercial real estate spaces in the San Francisco Bay Area and other U.S. cities. The position involves overseeing all phases of office fit-out projects, integrating design and construction processes, including IT, audiovisual, furniture, and security installations, and ultimately handing the completed projects over to the local operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial real estate projects from initiation to handover, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client needs.
- Lead project administration, coordinate timelines, prepare and audit project documentation ensuring compliance with PMO standards.
- Identify, assess, and handle project risks and issues, developing mitigation and contingency plans in collaboration with teams.
- Oversee and guide project teams, ensuring timely progress and resolution of challenges.
- Manage budgets, monitor costs, review change orders, and ensure prompt invoice payments aligned with client budgets.
- Maintain effective communication and stakeholder coordination throughout project phases.
- Conduct OAC meetings and document outcomes, decisions, and action items.
- Ensure quality assurance through adherence to standards, conducting audits and continuous improvement efforts.
- Facilitate orderly project closures with thorough evaluations, lessons learned documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Experience and Skills Required
- A minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience in Owner’s Representation Project Management within commercial real estate sectors.
- Track record delivering projects either nationwide across the U.S. or specifically in the Bay Area.
- Established relationships with architects, engineers, general contractors, and consultants in furniture, IT/AV, and security fields.
- Proficient in IT tools; experience with Smartsheet is advantageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project design and delivery stages, including required inputs and deliverables.
- Strong leadership ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration.
- Detail-oriented with a customer service focus and the capacity to meet deadlines.
- Experience developing project budgets based on historical data and cost metrics per square foot.
- Skilled in schedule creation, including Gantt chart development.
