Disney Experiences Technology is dedicated to crafting exceptional immersive and digital experiences for Disney's vacation brands, including Disney's Parks and Resorts globally, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani Resort, and Disney Vacation Club. The team manages comprehensive digital and physical guest experiences, covering Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise, along with core initiatives such as the MyDisneyExperience app and Hey, Disney! platform.
Role Overview
The Senior Product Manager will report to the Manager of Product, focusing on delivering outstanding digital experiences for Walt Disney World and Disneyland visitors as they plan, book, and enjoy their vacations.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to drive clarity and execution.
- Cultivate strong collaborations with stakeholders across Disney functions including marketing, operations, design, engineering, and other product teams.
- Effectively convey product updates, progress, and timelines to all key stakeholders.
- Act as a flexible problem solver by bridging gaps across roles and functions when necessary.
- Translate digital strategies into well-prioritized user stories and business requirements.
- Utilize AI tools to aid in generating initial business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure product requirements are thoroughly addressed throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support multiple cross-functional teams and development studios to maintain a clear understanding of project scope.
- Communicate any strategic or priority changes promptly to cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in product management.
- Strong strategic thinking abilities with a proactive approach and enthusiasm for taking initiative.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven capability to recognize, understand, and resolve complex critical issues effectively.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent level of experience is required.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position in Glendale, CA is between $141,900 and $190,300 annually. The offered base salary will consider internal pay equity, candidate location, expertise, skills, and experience. Additional compensation may include bonus opportunities and long-term incentive units. The package also includes a full suite of medical, financial, and other employee benefits aligned with the level and position.
