Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the product strategy for a critical payment segment, including setting priorities, establishing success metrics, and driving measurable outcomes.
- Enhance merchant and shopper journeys across payment processes like onboarding, checkout, refunds, disputes, payouts, reporting, and ensuring platform dependability.
- Continuously identify opportunities to minimize friction, boost product quality, decrease support needs, and increase user confidence.
- Utilize data analysis, customer feedback, support trends, and business insights to inform prioritization and make sound product decisions.
- Work closely with payment partners to optimize integrations, handle dependencies, deliver product improvements, and resolve technical and operational issues.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams on complex problems, balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals.
- Maintain stakeholder alignment through clear documentation, progress updates, risk management, and transparent decision-making.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including requirements, workflows, briefs, and technical discussions throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years in product management, including senior-level ownership of complex products or problem domains.
- At least 4 years of experience in payments, fintech, or related financial technology sectors, ideally managing products at scale.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional initiatives with strong communication, prioritization, and execution abilities.
- Excellent product judgement and the capability to make informed decisions even with incomplete information.
- Experience building dependable, high-trust systems where reliability and user confidence are paramount.
- Ability to collaborate closely with engineers and designers, comprehending technical challenges and making balanced product tradeoffs.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in metrics, dashboards, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills suitable for remote and asynchronous teamwork.
- Knowledge of open-source ecosystems, commerce platforms, or related technologies is an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from $170,000 to $240,000 USD annually, adjusted and paid in local currency.
- Fully remote work setup, offering flexibility to operate from any location.
- Simple, transparent fixed-base salary without complex variable pay elements.
- Flexible open vacation policy encouraging work-life balance.
- Access to country-specific comprehensive benefits packages.
- Chance to impact large-scale payment products that serve global merchants and customers.
- Diverse, international, and collaborative team environment spanning multiple regions and cultures.
- A supportive workplace culture emphasizing autonomy, inclusion, and opportunities for professional advancement.
