Team Overview

The Financial Education team develops a free educational platform aimed at students and educators. This platform delivers practical money management lessons and interactive tools to cultivate lifelong financial skills such as budgeting, credit management, tax knowledge, and entrepreneurship. Operating within the social impact division, the team is nimble and responsible for the entire user experience including both curriculum and product development.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to fully own a key segment of the financial education platform. This role involves starting with a deep understanding of the customer, defining success metrics, and delivering solutions that increase financial confidence among students and educators.

This is a hands-on role where you will actively prototype concepts using AI tools, engage users early for feedback, and work closely with design and engineering to bring ideas to fruition. Key Responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of your product area from identifying problems to launch and continuous improvement, ensuring high standards of quality and usability.
• Define success metrics, implement analytics and instrumentation to assess user experience, and iteratively enhance the product based on findings.
• Engage directly with students, educators, and partners to gather insights and uncover meaningful problems to address.
• Employ research, behavioral data, and AI tools to penetrate beyond superficial issues and identify core needs.
• Create prototypes rapidly using AI-enabled tools, delivering clickable demos quickly to gather user input.
• Collaborate with engineering, curriculum experts, and design teams to navigate technical trade-offs and shape the 'how' in addition to 'what'.
• Drive product decisions decisively using data, user feedback, and business strategy, balancing immediate priorities with long-term product health.
• Integrate AI into prioritization workflows to enhance team velocity.
• Demonstrate flexibility by stepping beyond standard responsibilities as needs arise in a dynamic small team environment.
• Work collaboratively across curriculum, design, engineering, program management, and marketing to align on dependencies and communication.
• Influence stakeholders using data-driven narratives and functional prototypes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience in product management with a proven ability to ship customer-facing products end to end.
• Proficiency and comfort working hands-on with AI-based prototyping tools such as Figma and Claude, harnessing emerging technologies rather than avoiding them.
• Strong customer empathy with capability to translate user insights into actionable product decisions.
• Fluency in data analytics able to define critical metrics and utilize insights for roadmap planning.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills to effectively influence and align cross-functional teams.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and take on varied roles as the needs of a small team evolve.
• Experience in education or mission-driven products is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
