Job description
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager specializing in Asset Management to join a leading digital transformation consulting firm. This hybrid role, based in Boston, MA, involves working onsite a few days per week and focuses on delivering innovative platform solutions tailored for private equity clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete product lifecycle for private equity platform initiatives, from initial discovery through final delivery.
- Collaborate with investment teams, operations, and technology stakeholders to develop the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Convert intricate business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and prioritized backlogs.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and data teams to create scalable and user-focused solutions.
- Lead agile practices including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Evaluate platform performance and user feedback to drive continuous enhancements.
- Serve as the main communication channel between business stakeholders and technical development teams.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in Product Management, preferably within financial services or private equity sectors.
- Proficient in managing data-intensive platforms, dashboards, or enterprise systems.
- Demonstrated success working in digital transformation or consulting environments.
- Solid understanding and application of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication abilities and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with portfolio management systems or investment platforms.
- Knowledge of data tools such as SQL, business intelligence tools, and dashboard technologies.
- Familiarity with consulting practices and enterprise client engagement.
- Exposure to cloud-based platforms and contemporary data architectures.
